CTAO Delivers 100+ Food hampers to elders in the community

Under the federal emergency community support fund, CTAO has been very fortunate to receive funds via the Red Cross for providing food hampers to our vulnerable seniors.  Today marks an auspicious day and is the 13th Anniversary commemorating the US Congressional Gold Medal awarded to his His Holiness the Dalai Lama.  This year being the year of Gratitude, we have been able to provide 127 food hampers to our community elders.  The groceries were purchased a day in advance.  All of our volunteers helped with boxing and delivery of the 100+ food hampers.  We arranged for 10 cars with 2-3 volunteers each and these hampers were distributed all across the city.
